Recap of My Christmas

I hope you all had an amazing Christmas with your friends and family. I had the best time celebrating with all of my loved ones and had delicious food to the point of severe and extended food coma! Here's a recap of my holiday weekend in pictures. Stay tuned for my New Year's Eve looks! It might be up a little late because I haven't had time to shoot pictures and edit them, but they'll be up before New Year's Eve for sure!

Schodorf's Luncheonette

This place recently opened in Highland Park and I have been dying to try it! I decided to grab it for lunch the other day and I ended up really really liking it! They have freshly made sandwiches, salads, and soups. I chose the split pea soup with ham, a veggie sandwich, and a grilled cheese. The shop is very small with specialty sodas, fresh ingredients, and very affordable prices. Half sandwiches, which are still pretty big portions, are only about $4.75. LOVE IT!

I was craving pancakes so badly for the past few weeks, so my sister and I went to South Pasadena to get some delicious brunch. I got their breakfast plate with lemon ricotta pancakes. It was absolutely delicious! I loved everything about the plate, all the way down to the pieces of fruit on my plate.

Foodie Friday!

Sorry I haven't had a Foodie Friday in a bit, but after the holidays, I've been trying not to eat out so much, therefore I had less pictures! But this past week, I went to a few places and definitely got back into the groove of eating out. So here are my Instagram pictures of my food adventures!

My homemade breakfast!


Fisherman's Outlet in Downtown, LA: I love coming here for some deep-fried seafood goodness! They also have delicious charbroiled options and a market, so it's definitely a treasure trove here! I always share the fish n chips and shrimp platter with lobster bisque and cajun rice with my boyfriend and it's plenty for both of us. It's a lot closer for us to go here than going to the beach for some seafood.


Mama Lu's Dumpling House in Monterey Park: I love coming here when I have a craving for delicious dumplings and noodles. They have a large variety of dumplings from steamed ones to pan fried ones, as well as regular Chinese entrees. I usually order some dumplings, beef rolls, and noodles because you can't go wrong with those choices here.

Recap of my Thanksgiving Weekend

Hi lovelies! I hope everyone had a wonderful and long Thanksgiving weekend! I know I had an amazing time pigging out and spending time with my friends and family. Luckily, we had our Thanksgiving dinner on Friday night instead of Thursday, because I definitely needed that extra time to prep the food and my house for our 30 guests! I know right? 30 people? But it turned out great and I couldn't have asked for more!

I also accompanied my roommate from college to San Diego on Saturday and Sunday to support her and do her hair/makeup for her and her fiance's engagement photos. So we had a mini-getaway and spent some quality time with our friends down there. AND we ate our hearts out the whole weekend! San Diego, why do you have such delicious food?!!

Late Foodie Friday!

I am so relieved to have gotten my laptop back!! I had to send it to get fixed so blogging was impossible for me! I am back and ready to post! I recently got an Instagram account and have taken loads of food pictures while my laptop was being fixed.
