Things I want to do soon

I was thinking about things that I could do in Los Angeles on a low budget and after searching around on the internet, I found a few things to put on my to-do list. Just because I'm trying to save money, doesn't mean I can't have fun! I've lived in LA my whole life and I still haven't been to these places, so why not try to do so soon?!

Maybe if you're in LA and you don't have money to spend, you could find some of these things interesting too!

1. Los Angeles Arboretum

The Los Angeles County arboretum consists of gardens and trails, similar to that of Huntington Gardens. I haven't gone to the arboretum yet, but really want to go sometime soon. It's a great place to take pictures and just enjoy a nice walk. The admission is $8 for adults and I heard there's a lot to see there.

2. Los Angeles County Museum of Arts at night!

I've been to LACMA before, but only for a class assignment. The one thing I really want to do is go at night so that I could see these lamp posts. There is also a Tim Burton Exhibit coming up in May, so I'll definitely want to go then. I believe that admission is $10. I'm not quite sure right now, but it's on the website. I went as a student so I had a pass to get free admission.
3. Eaton Canyon Hiking

Eaton Canyon is a nature preservation north of Pasadena. There are hiking trails there and waterfalls! I've been wanting to go and the best part is, IT'S FREE! You can park there and then begin your hike. My friends have gone there a few times and it looks like a lot of fun. You have to trek over small creeks to get to the waterfall and it's a nice summer activity. I also heard it's a good beginners hike.

4. Aquarium of the Pacific

I have been dying to go to the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach, California. It is a bit pricey but on goldstar.com, you can get tickets for cheaper. The price is normally $25, I believe. Anyways, I want to go and pet the rays and stuff! If you are willing to spend the money, I think you pay around $90 per person to actually interact with creatures like sea otters or seals. That's only on the weekend and with reservations though.
