The Equator
Pasadena,CA
Went here for Happy Hour during the week and thought it was pretty good. I believe on that day it was half off select alcoholic drinks and half off appetizers. I, of course, indulged in the half off appetizers! We got several dishes and shared among 4 people, which was perfect! Equator is an Asian fusion restaurant and serves things from Japanese to Thai dishes, so if you're into that, give it a try and check out their Happy Hour. They also have teas and specialty coffee drinks for those that are like me and don't drink alcohol!
Cha Cha Chili (Formerly Red Hot Kitchen)
If you like Korean bbq and Mexican food, this is for you. It's a Korean and Mexican fusion joint that offers things from bulgogi burritos to short rib chimichangas! Everything we had was very flavorful and fresh. I loved the bulgogi burrito because of the array of cabbages inside and the way the meat was marinated. Yummm...
Aroma Coffee and Tea
Studio City, CA
This lovely cafe is located in Studio City and I've gone a few times already because I love it so much! They have brunch until 2:30 on weekdays and have a wide variety of sandwiches, salads, burgers, and many other things. Their coffees and pastries are delicious and everything comes in a big portion which is perfect for fatties like me!
Wow - these dishes all look delicious, especially the food from Cha Cha Chili! Now I know where to eat next time I am in LA. =)
