Foodie Friday

Fosselman's Ice Cream
I was craving ice cream for about a week or two and never had a chance to get it for some reason! So after dinner, the boyfriend and I went to Fosselman's ice cream since we haven't been there in a while. They have a lot of flavors and have been around for a really long time. I got two scoops (of course) and the flavors I had my heart set on were toasted almond and nutella. I like the toasted almond the most. It was just so creamy and I LOVE almonds! The boyfriend took a more crazy route and tried out their Guiness flavor. Yeah, that's right. BEER ice cream. He claimed he liked it but when I tried some, it definitely was not a favorite of mine. Then again, I don't like beer. So for those of you who are beer lovers, give it a try!

Guisados
My friend recommended this place when we got hungry after going to some random thrift shops in Echo Park last weekend. This joint is supposed to have one of the best tacos in LA and guess what? THEY DOOOOO! I love them! The tortillas are made by hand and are thicker than the usual tortillas you're used to. The meats are super tender and marinaded perfectly. I have nothing bad to say about Guisados! AND they have the most delicious horchata ever! Everything is super fresh and super delicious!

Do tell me what you think on the provoking pieces ;)
