Slater's 50/50 Pasadena

After some morning yoga, a few of us decided to go try out Slater's 50/50 in Pasadena, which just opened only a couple months ago. We had heard good things about the Anaheim location and were very excited to try out this new one. We shared the vampire dip, which was garlicky cheesy dippy goodness! Our second appetizer was a combination of five of their appetizers. We chose fries, sweet potato fries, battered jalapenos, mac 'n cheese balls, and onion rings, AND five different sauces! I got the veggie burger because I wanted to be slightly healthy that day. All in all, I thought it was decent. Maybe would have been better to choose a regular bacon-filled meaty burger!  

Foxy's

Wanted a mid-week brunch, so my sister and I went to Foxy's in Glendale. It's a local diner that serves Mexican specialties and amazing brunch options. I got the Lox benedict which is a play on the regular eggs benedict where instead of ham, you have slices of smoked salmon/lox. It was absolutely delicious and the side of fruits was amazing! And it's right next to the Glendale Galleria and Americana shopping center, so you can go shop after! What a good way to spend your day, right?
