First Foodie Friday of 2013!

Honey Badger

Had lunch yesterday with some good friends at this small joint in Alhambra. They specialize in teas and sandwiches and also acts as a study spot for students. The interior was dim with lamps on each table as well as a plethora of outlets! Perfect for students that like to study in cafes! The sandwiches were good and the teas were GREAT! I got the lunch special that included a tea, half a sandwich, and a side for only $6.95! How can you beat that?!

 

 

Gyu Kaku Pasadena

The boyfriend and I went to Gyu Kaku for a New Year's lunch because they had Happy Hour nearly all day. We ordered pretty much everything as you can see in the pictures, but I definitely recommend going during Happy Hour because their prices are slashed tremondously! The meats were all marinated deliciously and very tender, and their sides were super yummy too. So if you're in the mood for some interactive dining and Japanese bbq, gotta try Gyu Kaku!
