The other day, I went to Spring Street BBQ just to try it. It's located right in Chinatown, Los Angeles and I thought it was a little strange to have a southern bbq joint in the middle of Chinatown. Turns out it was pretty good. They had a lot of the usual choices- yummy bbq sandwiches, ribs, sides, and a lot of choices of beer (not a fan of beer, but thought some people would be interested). The pictures I took aren't great quality because I forgot my camera and had to use my phone camera to get pictures. Either way, I still documented it somehow.
It was really rainy that day, so I bundled up in A LOT of clothes. I was barely able to lift up my arms because I made sure I was going to be warm. I like being prepared for anything.
I am also participating in the Petite Fashion Challenge. The challenge is to dress up your basics. I usually wear mostly basics anyways, so with the outfit below, it was mostly about layering. I wore a v-neck t-shirt underneath everything and threw on a knit coat over that AND THEN threw on a trench coat over that. I am all about comfort and practicality.
