Thanksgiving Party Looks!

It's that time of year again where we eat our hearts out and forget about our previous New Years' resolutions to lose weight or eat better. No one cares about that because it's Thanksgiving and it's time to feast and pig out with our loved ones and friends! Yay!! Here are a few outfit ideas that you could wear to your dinner parties. I hope you enjoy it and that you all have the best time celebrating this week! OH! And good luck shopping on Black Friday if you're going!

Blue Sweater and Floral Scarf

The weather in LA is going crazy because yesterday was super hot and then today it's cloudy and slightly humid. I am very much ready to go into "sweater and scarf" weather! Since it isn't as hot today, I decided to wear a slouchy sweater and a pretty floral scarf with my booties. I love how comfortable everything is and that no matter how much I eat and gain weight during the holidays, these outfits will cover me up perfectly!
Shhhh...don't tell anybody!

Graduation Time!

It's that time of year again when many people celebrate their academic success and attend their graduation! I graduated 2 years ago from college and I was super excited about my ceremony, as well as spending time with my friends and family after. Plus, you have summer to look forward to!

Here are some outfits that I came up with to wear underneath your gown. I know that during the ceremony, you'll be zipping up your gown, but you always have pictures afterwards and dinner/parties. Enjoy!

Look 1
Dress-Forever 21. Shoes-Payless.
Most of the time, graduation gowns are dark blue or black, so you could wear a bright color to add some fun to your outfit! I chose this teal dress to wear underneath and it would be great to wear to dinner or something afterwards. I love this color and the nude mesh top!

Look 2
Top-Fashion City. Skirt-Macys. Shoes-Target. Necklace-Charlotte Russe.
If you want more of a business or sophisticated look, here's a way to work with that. I chose this bright yellow top for a fun pop of color and paired it with a pencil skirt. It's sophisticated and put together. Throw on a necklace to complete the look.

 Look 3
Dress-Forever21. Necklace-Forever21. Shoes-Payless. Bracelets-H&M
And for those that want a Springy feminine look, throw on a summer dress and strappy heels. I chose this ruffled blue polka dot dress and some fun heels for this look. Have fun with your accessories with bracelets and a necklace.

I hope you are all proud of yourself for your accomplishments in school! So now you can spread your wings and take the next step in life!! Congrats!

Layers and layers

It was a little cold the other day and I wanted to throw on some layers to work and keep myself warm. I love this olive green jacket around this time because it's not overly warm, but it's not too light where I'm freezing. The material is almost suede-like and the front cascades down. The back, I thought, was really cute because it ties in the back and the sleeves cuff if you don't want it to be long-sleeved. Underneath my jacket is a light blue button-up flannel. AND underneath that is my purple v-neck shirt. I usually like to layer by having the smallest layer at the bottom and building up. It creates a cleaner and more put-together outfit. Of course, I added my suede boots to the outfit for a comfortable everyday look.

Christmas Shopping!

Wore this when I went Christmas shopping on Saturday and had on my Black Friday boots! They are so comfortable so I definitely recommend them if you are looking for a little wedged bootie. After a full day of shopping and searching for the best deals, I went to BJs with my family for dinner. My boyfriend and I have been trying to eat better for our upcoming cruise, so I had to find something at BJs that was somewhat healthier than my usual choices. Although, I was contemplating about cheating my diet for their delicious pulled pork sandwich!! But deciding that I want to look decent in a bikini throughout all of my trip, I got their shrimp tacos, which was 500 calories. Aren't you guys proud of me?! My blog isn't called Petite and HUNGRY for no reason- I swear I eat like a monster (the greasier and fattier, the better).

More outfit posts coming your way and Christmas themed posts!

Scarves and Sandwiches

Above is a new outfit post. I just wore that for work one day because it gets really cold at work sometimes. I just bought that coral infinity scarf and I love it! I have a thing for scarves and have them in as many colors and patterns as you can think of, but I never got a circular infinity one, until I found a few at Forever21 last month! Now, I see it everywhere! How funny!

The other sets of pictures I have up there are from a lunch I had with my girlies during the week. We went to Aroma Cafe in Studio City to try it out. It was sooo delicious. I got the lobster sandwich, which to me was like a lobster BLT. LOVED IT! I got a bite from each of my friends' dishes too and I have to say, everything they make there is delicious. Definitely a recommendation from me! Oooo! And also try there cream Italian sodas. I got the raspberry cream Italian soda and it was perfect.

Day One in Denver

I went to Denver with my friends this weekend to visit a couple of our friends that live there and it was absolutely amazing! It was such a different place compared to LA and I loved it! The air was so fresh and everything was so calm and peaceful. Our weekend was activity filled and I barely got any rest because we had so many things we wanted to do and see. I'm going to break down my posts into three so that there is a post for each day we were there. Enjoy!
