Bringing Back the Bell Bottoms!

Happy Monday everyone! My cousin gave me a pair of jeans that she didn't like and didn't fit her thinking it would fit me better. I've been stuck in the skinny jeans phase because it just seems to flatter me more, but when I looked at the jeans she gave me, I noticed that it was a flared/bell bottom cut. I haven't worn flared jeans since the beginning of high school and I was wondering how it would work on my body.

I noticed that celebrities and other bloggers have worn flared jeans here and there and modernized it. I thought, why not keep it and work with it?! So I got it hemmed, of course, and it actually fits great!

I felt that if you wear it correctly, it would elongate your legs. Just make sure you wear wedges are heels so that the bottom doesn't bunch up. If it bunches up, it kinda makes you look shorter. Now that I look at it, I think it might need to get it altered again to slim it down a bit. The legs are still wide for me. Hope you like how it looks on me!

Tulip Dress

I bought this dress a long time ago but I don't wear it often. Anyways, I brought it out of my closet the other day and remembered how comfortable and versatile it is. It's cinched at the waist but because I'm super petite, I added a belt to flatter my figure a bit more. I like that the skirt is a "tulip" style where it wraps over and has a slight slit. I think I'll wear this more often since summer is just around the corner!
