Went to Lemonade in Pasadena for the first time with my best friend and my sister the other day just to try it out after seeing so many people go there. It's a very fresh lunch stop that is cafeteria style where you pick up and try and walk along the display choosing which items you want. The food was pretty good and very healthy I might add, but the stars of my lunch were the blueberry mint lemonade and my peanut butter chocolate cookie. I thought the food was too pricey for that it was but I would definitely go back for the lemonades and desserts!
Lola's Peruvian Restaurant
My friends got a Groupon for Lola's in Glendale so we drove over there one night to have dinner after walking our dogs. I've only had Peruvian food one other time before this and really liked it, so I thought it was worth a try. The restaurant was really busy that night even if it was a Tuesday so it took a little to get us seated. There were only maybe two servers too, so the service was kinda slow but I understood under the circumstances. They brought out these breadsticks that were super hot and toasted (YUMMY) and they gave us two creamy sauces to dip them in. We kept asking for more bread because it was so good and we were so hungry! The boyfriend and I shared a large dish full of deep fried seafood, roasted corn, and yucca. It was okay, but super filling!
