Pretty in Pink






I wore this pink dress to go walk my doggy and have lunch. I love the wrap detail with the neckline and that I can adjust the sash to tighten the dress around my waist (as well as tuck it in and lift the dress as bit so that it fits me better). I have a problem with dresses sometimes because I'm short and petite so they tend to run longer on me. Considering that I don't want to pay for alterations because I'm trying to save money, I make sure that I can adjust the dresses myself or they fit me perfectly without alterations. I guess you could say I never have to worry about a dress being too short on me.
I also love the ruched shoulders on the dress. I feel like they give it a little something-something so that it is different than other pieces.

    I think being petite is a plus when it comes to "dresses" --you can turn the longer tunics into a dress & no one would ever know you were wearing just a top. This dress worked out well for you@

    I'm extremely petite too. It is nice to see another blogger with similar proportions to me.

    I find that I tend to wear dresses like this with sleeves more often because they are so easy to throw on for casual (or even more dressed up) days without having to worry about camis and strapless bras and all that.

    All that to say, you make me want to go buy a dress like this :)
