Foodie Friday

I went to Dog Haus in Pasadena the other day because we were craving some juicy burgers and tater tots. The best thing about Dog Haus is that they use Hawaiian bread for the buns, which give the burger that extra little something. The burger down below is called The Mule. It has garlic aioli, avocado, egg, and cheese in it. And let me just say, IT WAS DELICIOUS!

I felt like cooking yesterday, so I made lunch for the boyfriend and myself. I decided to make a rosemary and balsamic chicken with deviled eggs. Don't really know why I wanted to make deviled eggs, but I think it had something to do with seeing it on the food channel. Anyways, I whisked together the marinade for the chicken, which included olive oil, balsamic vinegar, lemon zest, rosemary, thyme, and garlic.

I put the defrosted chicken into a ziplock bag and just let it sit in the marinade for a while. Once I felt like it marinaded for a good amount of time, I stuck it on the pan to brown each side, then I stuck it in the oven to fully cook the chicken.

Enjoy the pictures!!
